I’ve been buying good LLLL.com domains lately and even registered some, so I gathered a small portfolio of 101 names. Check it out at 4 Letter Domains

I’ve set all the prices to $1000 to save myself the time waste of trying to assign a price tag to each - they are constantly going up in value, so it’s pointless anyway.

But while for most of these $1000 would be pretty good, there are also a few that are worth more

As of today there are about 6500 LLLL.com domains left unregistered, so while the number is going down quickly and it’s predicted that the 4 letter domain will be gone within a few weeks to 1-2 months, all the domainers are keeping those expecting the prices to raise once no more LLLL’s are available.

The growth rate in prices for CVCV.com domains has been incredibly high during the last months. You could have easily made 500% in less than half a year in cvcv.com’s and I expect it to continue to go up and good 4 letter domains already sell at prices close to bad LLL’s

Spammers love nofollow and they love my blog..

Akismet has caught 20,814 spam for you since you installed it.

Since I removed the nofollows from links in comments the amount of spammy trckbacks and comments has been up. In fact now I’m receiving hundreds of spam comments per day which makes it totally impossible to surf through askimet’s caught spam to find any good comments that were caught by mistake.. so if any of you had they comment unpublished try to make it look less spammy to pass through askimet

I’ve heard about a few simple tricks that can help decrease the numbers significantly, like maybe renaming the comment/trackback filename, but I have no idea how to do it yet

I had previous issues with paypal and it usually took them few weeks up to a month to review them and always the decision was not in my favour

And off course everyone heard all the horror stories about paypal and credit card chargebacks, some of them are here

After reading the title you probably think I’m going to give out some blogging tips, but in fact it’s the other way around, I hope to receive some tips here.
See, when I started this blog I didn’t really think anyone would read it, but strange enough there’re quite a few people who read it and even comment on my posts, so I’m not that bad at blogging after all

But I think my blog design is too  simple and i need to add more features and plugins. Every other decent blog has a bunch of cool plugins and a nice design, so which
plugins would you recommend me to install here?

I think something that can show last posts and add tags would be cool, but I’m a newbie  in blogging, so give me some tips here please

As a chess player myself I’ve been following the match closely and watched most of the games, some even live via the site.

I got this site Post Simple, that allows posting texts to all visitors.

So while lots of people love the idea and share their personal things (1, 2), news, poetry (1, 2, 3, 4) and stuff, most of them prefer to blatantly spam the site hoping to get some free links, but … all live links are disabled, so i get too see a lot of stuff like this

Of course most of the spam comments are sent by scripts/bots looking for forms and spamming them, but still it’s rather interesting checking out what people spam sometimes

Sometimes I even find interesting conversations and just people flaming others.
