I was recently quite surprised to find out that  I won the appraisal contest at DomainState

Apparently my picks were the closest to the final prices, compared to other 35 participants. It’s a big honor because DomainState is one of the leading forums for domain professionals and most of the people competing were much more experienced domainers than me

Here are my picks compared to the final results as posted in the forum by snoopy:

My favorite domain Forums are DNF and DomainState, since these two are more professional and the places where most serious domainers discuss business and stuff. DigitialPoint is also great.
NamePros is less professional and more suitable for beginning domainers, as well as DNscoop.

For .uk domains go to AcornDomains - a very friendly place.

Surely there are many others, but these should be more than enough for selling and buying domains

Update: actually that’s another screwed up update. It has just rolled back. Find in forums is back to pr4 and so are all my other sites i’ve checked. Similar thing happened about half a year ago in another update, so we’ll have to wait a couple weeks now to see the final results..
Yeah seems like it just happened. Yet another pagerank update. Which means you’ll now see on every webmaster forum 100’s of pages of people saying “WOW I got a pr5!” etc..
So, as usually few of my sites got a higher pr, a few lost some pr, others got banned, lost rankings and were put into supplementals… umm yeah I love google

So seriously I couldn’t care less..

But for those who do, go check all your pages and post here whats the highest pr you’ve got..

I just recenty noticed that I’m constantly receiving tons of traffic from stumbleupon.com, so I was wondering how it happened since i never used or promoted it there, so I found this page

I’ve been posting a lot of crap lately in different forums and reading a lot of crap others posted too..

And this is kinda useless and a complete waste of time, so I thought I should take another break to get to my more improtant stuff and get more things done.

Sometimes I read adsense forums on DP and there’s so much crap and complete BS posted there..

No names, but here’re some examples, also some threads you should check out..

• A guy saying he’s checking all the ads showing on his site and when he sees an MFA (made for/of/from adsense) site, he filters it from his account. He’s been doing it for a long time and now his average clicks have gone from 1c to 3c per click .. And then others agree with it and say thats a very good method, they’re going to try it too.
• People are afraid of using adlogger because it can be against adsense tos - it’s just a little javascript line of code that you include in your html code, what can be wrong with that? :confused:
• This guy is suggesting you to put ALL high paying keywords in the code to get higher clicks
• A thread titled Is there here someone earning at least $2 daily ? is one of the most popular adsense threads on DP?
• People think adsense will ban them for showing ads in front of the visitor in the center of the page - that is what adsense hit map suggests actually…
• Be sure to check this thread to see how much (little?) everyone is making
• People think it’s impossible to have over 50 sites
• People are saying adsense scrapers are not ligitimate and compare BH to adsense fraud..wtf

Oh crap, there’s so much misunderstanding, even among the experienced adsensers.

Well, tbh I’m just happy it’s this way, less competition for me
